Sutra

Sutra is a core character in Crush Crush. She is the seventeenth (17th) girl unlocked (together with Karma), after reaching Lvl 55 Mysterious and unlocking all core characters before her.

You meet her by crushing her expectations as the Chosen One.

Appearance

Sutra has deeply tanned skin, honey yellow eyes, and light blonde hair with a pinkish gradient tied in a ponytail held by a gold band. She almost always carries a blunt golden sword with a pattern on the blade and an orange gem on the end. She has a small scar on her left eyebrow. Her makeup consists of gold eyeshadow and gold lipstick.

Her default outfit consists of a white and dark pink breast band with the word "सूत्र" (which can be read as "Sutra") at the center, a white knee-length loincloth, and brown sandals. She also wears a gold accessory on her forehead, a sheer faceguard, three gold earrings, a gold choker with orange gems, gold bands on her biceps, large gold wristbands with three orange gems on her wrists, and large gold bands on her hips.

Her holiday outfit consists of an orange tube top with a large white stripe and a small orange bowtie on the chest, a small orange cape, and an orange miniskirt held by a black belt with a gold buckle. Her sword is replaced by a large orange sack.

Her school uniform consists of a white uniform shirt, a loose black tie, a black pencil skirt, and black dress shoes.

Her bathing suit consists of a purple two-piece bikini.

Her diamond ring consists of a white form-fitting dress and a sheer cover with a floral pattern on the chest and arms. Her sword is replaced by a bouquet with dark purple, orange, and yellow flowers. Her forehead accessory and earrings are white.

Her lingerie consists of an elaborate black harness held by a silver ring and silver clips along the central strap. Her sword is replaced by a black whip with a silver end.

Her DX wedding dress is white with an elaborate gold design and a sheer gold sarong. She also wears a white tiara, an elaborate white necklace, and an elaborate white band on her right wrist. Her sword is replaced by the same bouquet as in her diamond ring outfit, but larger and with a bright orange ribbon at the base.

Personality

Sutra is Karma’s bodyguard, and while Karma trains your heart and soul in the many ways of love, Sutra trains your body in the...many ways of love. She’s a stoic and supremely confident woman of few words with an incredible physique and a steadfast dedication to her mission, which is to help Karma help you harness the true power of love.

When it comes to Sutra’s personal feelings, she is quick to call Karma the love of her life, but her heart is also open juuuust enough to let you in as well. You should feel very, very special. Because you are.^[1]

They explain that a great evil is coming, called the Dark One. She must be stopped, and the Dark Portal closed, or the world is doomed. They look up and down, and mention there is much work to do.

Trivia

Sutra and Karma are the only main girls to not require any dates in order to progress.
- You still need to go on every date with them in order to advance past Frenemy with Q-Pernikiss.
- The LTE girl, Claudia, also does not require any dates to make progress.
Sutra and Karma are the only girls to be together when they are "crushed" by the player.
- The PES girls Ginger and Wasabi are also unlocked together, although they are considered one girl, unlike Sutra and Karma, who are considered two.
Her name comes from the Kama Sutra, an ancient Hindu love manual.
Like Ayeka, Sutra sometimes comments on other girls.
The info bar for relationship updates is almost the same as other girls, except when you achieve Lover state on Sutra, the info bar will display "Your Body has achieved Sexy Inner Peace!" instead.
She reveals the reason why Pamu was imprisoned, stating, "Watch out for that Pamu. She nearly caused the extinction of my people. Also, she bites."
She says, "You must be swift as the coursing river. With all the force of a great typhoon..." These are the lyrics to "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Disney's Mulan.
Her Friendzoned dialogue "Just do it" is the slogan of the sports brand Nike.
Her phrase "Someone accidentally spilled coffee on me today. It didn't bother me though. I drink coffee for breakfast." is based on a scene with the character Garnet in the TV show Steven Universe in which the same thing happens.
"You chat very quickly. Are you in a rush?" may refer to the fact that by this point in the game, your reset bonus is high enough to spam "sorry" for affection.
The Steam achievement for reaching Lover level with Sutra is a reference to Pink Floyd's song of the same name, "Shine On You Crazy Diamond".
