Time Warp Event

From SPS Wiki

The Time Warp Event is a time-travel-themed Parallel Event in Crush Crush, first taking place from September 25 until September 29, 2025, spanning a total of five days.

This Event takes place within a Parallel Universe, where Time blocks, Reset boosts, and everything else are completely reset. You must start from scratch. The Time Warp Event is unique among PES events, as you can soft-reset your progress in the event (it is, in fact, a required mechanic to complete the event).

As with all Parallel Events, this event features "Goals", which can be completed in order to earn various items and boosts that are helpful in progressing further in the event, such as Speed Boosts, Time Skips, Time Blocks, Money, and Hourglasses. Additionally, some goals offer rewards for the Main Game, such as an Event Achievement and an array of outfits. If you complete every Goal before the event ends, you will be able to unlock the grand prize: a fully date-able Girl for the Main Game.

Opening Cutscene

[edit | edit source]

Upon entering the Event, you're greeted with an opening cutscene/dialogue which plays out as the following:

  1. (You find yourself tumbling through an endless wormhole. Just tumbling and tumbling, with no end in sight...)
  2. (Suddenly, you feel a massive impact! Your body is thrown to one side, and the wormhole spits you out in a place that's not at all familiar.)
  3. (It's almost like you've tumbled into... A PARALLEL UNIVERSE!)
  4. (...OR PERHAPS THE DISTANT PAST!)
  5. (And you're not alone. There's a girl sprawled on the ground nearby, looking as dazed and confused as you feel.)
  6. Polly: "Ohh, me 'ead... What happened? Where am I? What year is it!?"

You then exit the Dialogue, and are greeted by Q-Piddy explaining the event:

  1. Welcome to the Time Warp Event! This limited-time event takes place in a parallel universe where you're traveling through time - again and again and again!
  2. In this universe, all your jobs and hobbies start at level 0. The same goes for any girls you meet, and they'll pay out Hourglasses as you get to know them!
  3. Make sure you spend your Hourglasses while you can! Since Hourglasses can’t travel between universes, you won't be able to keep them once the Time Warp Event ends.
  4. The good news is, Diamonds CAN travel between universes! That means your Diamonds are shared between the Time Warp Event and your main game.
  5. By the way, you'll earn rewards based on the progress you make during the Time Warp Event. You can claim your rewards in the “Goals” tab.
  6. At the end of the event, any Outfits or Character rewards you've earned will travel back through the portal with you to your main game.
  7. Just remember, Speed Boosts, Time Blocks, and Hourglasses CAN'T travel back with you, so spend them before the timer runs out!
  8. Remember, you can return to the main game any time by going to the “Return” tab!
  9. That about covers it. Have fun, and enjoy the Time Warp Event!

Ending Cutscene

[edit | edit source]
  1. (You’re having so much fun adventuring through time with your crew of cute girls that you almost don’t want to go home! But alas, you must.)
  2. Polly: “It’s time, luv. We're ready to make the final jump!"
  3. Polly: “Now, I have to tell you... I have a sneaking suspicion that time is going to correct itself. If I'm right, then everyone's going straight back to where and when they belong.”
  4. Polly: “Including me.”
  5. Polly: “But destiny brought us together once, and I believe in me heart of hearts that it’ll bring us together again!”
  6. Polly: “We might have to start over, in a way. But that’s just how all this timey-wimey, parallel-universe nonsense works. Makes perfect sense, right?”
  7. (All you can do is smile and nod.)
  8. (Soon enough, everyone's piling into Polly’s Time Machine. Polly pulls a fancy lever, and several wormholes appear!)
  9. (You find yourself tumbling endlessly through time and space… But wait! Is that a girl tumbling behind you!?)

Adversary

  • [Stone Age] Oy! Did we just collide mid-timestream? Ohhh... That's not good.
  • [All Other Eras] Oy! Did we just crash land in an unexpected era... Again?
Sorry
[edit | edit source]
  • [Stone Age]
    • Blimey! This place looks positively prehistoric. Oy... do you think we crash landed before the dinosaur-killing asteroid, or after?
    • Well this little detour threw a wrench into my plans. Get it? WRENCH? Because I'm holding... Oh, never mind.
    • I think I know what happened. You were traveling through space, and I was traveling through time, and then BAM! Chaos! Okay, it’s not a very scientific explanation, but have you got anything better?
    • I smell burnt toast... That means we're at a point where someone's discovered fire already! Phew!
  • [Ancient Greece]
    • Where are we now? Ancient Greece? That seems reasonable.
    • Well this little detour continues to throw a wrench into my plans. Get it? WRENCH? Because I'm holding... Oh, we'll get there eventually.
    • I think I know what happened. You were traveling through space, and I was traveling through time, and then BAM! Chaos! Wait... did I already admit that this whole thing was my fault? *sigh* Never mind...
    • I smell burnt toast... Which reminds me, I'm starving! Think the Ancient Greeks know how to make a cheese toastie?
  • [Baroque Era]
    • Where are we now? Looks... fancy. Too fancy.
    • Well this little detour continues to throw a wrench into my plans. Get it? WRENCH? Because I'm holding... Oh, all right. I can see me joke's getting a bit old.
    • I think I know what happened. You were traveling through space, and I was traveling through time, and then BAM! Chaos! Wait... did I already admit that this whole thing was my fault? *sigh* Never mind...
    • I smell burnt toast... At least, I hope it's toast, and not that mob of angry peasants with pitchforks storming the palace...
  • [Dark Ages]
    • Where are we now? Looks medieval. Smells medieval. *shudder*
    • Well this little detour continues to throw a wrench into my plans. Get it? WRENCH? Because I'm holding... Oh, we'll get there eventually.
    • I think I've reached a point where I can look back at our “meet-cute” and laugh. You were traveling through space, I was traveling through time, and then BAM! The rest was history. Heehee!
    • I smell burnt toast... At least, I hope it's toast, and not a witch tied to a stake...
  • [Feudal Japan]
    • Where are we now? Feudal Japan? Oooo, I hope we're in time for cherry blossom season!
    • Well this little detour... is actually quite lovely, isn't it?
    • I think I've reached a point where I can look back at our “meet-cute” and laugh. You were traveling through space, I was traveling through time, and then BAM! The rest was history. Heehee!
    • I smell burnt toast... Or is that burnt copper wiring? Oh, I hope that last jump didn't damage me time machine even further!
  • [1990s]
    • Where are we now? I see street lights, station wagons, and a video rental shop! Well? Is it starting to look like home?
    • Well this little detour continues to throw a wrench into my plans. Get it? WRENCH? Because I'm holding... Oh, all right. I can see me joke's getting a bit old.
    • I think I know what happened. You were traveling through space, and I was traveling through time, and then BAM! Chaos! Wait... did I already admit that this whole thing was my fault? *sigh* Never mind...
    • I think I've reached a point where I can look back at our “meet-cute” and laugh. You were traveling through space, I was traveling through time, and then BAM! The rest was history. Heehee!
    • I smell burnt toast... Oh wait, no I don't. It's one of those newfangled frosted toaster strudels!
  • Er... I'm not sure this is even fit to be broken down for scrap, if I'm being completely honest. But I'll do my best to find a use for it nonetheless!
  • [Stone Age] Mind those mitts! The only greasy handprints I like on my apron are my own!
  • [All Other Eras] Ah! Was I falling asleep? This time travel business really takes it out of me…

[edit | edit source]
  • [Stone Age]
  1. Well, me time machine is definitely broken, which means you and I have two options.
  2. We can accept our fate and live a short and miserable life together here in the Stone Age… OR you can start gathering Time Crystals to help me get this machine working again!

  1. You did it! You scrounged up enough Time Crystals to swing us, oh, say, ten or fifteen thousand years into the future? Give or take. Fantastic work!
  2. Now, we're off to a good start, but we're still going to need more Time Crystals if we want to get home. So go on. Get cracking!
  • [1990s]
  1. You did it! You scrounged up enough Time Crystals to swing us all the way into the late twentieth century!
  2. That means me Time Machine's almost back to full power. Keep gathering Time Crystals and we'll be home before you can say "Pip, pip, cheerio!"

  • [Ancient Greece] / [Baroque Era] / [Dark Ages] / [Feudal Japan] Keep calm and carry on collecting those Time Crystals!
  • [1990s] We're so close to getting home! Well, your home. But that's good enough for me!

  1. Here's the plan: we'll use Time Crystals to fling us through time, so's that you can collect even more Time Crystals, bring 'em to me, and then we can get me time machine powered up enough to send us home!
  2. Yes, it is liable to get a bit confusing. But if you just don't think about it too hard, it'll be fine! Trust me. I'm a professional.

  • [Ancient Greece] / [Dark Ages] / [Feudal Japan]
  1. All right, so we know that the power of friendship, love, etc. generates Time Crystals. But we're not generating them fast enough, which means you need to woo more girls!
  2. Keep jumping through time! Surely there's at least one girl in every era who's open to the idea of dating you. And hey, if you ever make a bad first impression, you can just try again!

  • [Stone Age]
  1. You know, I think this era might be growing on me! It’s peaceful, it’s pretty, it’s full of potential… Well, okay, it’s definitely not peaceful. And it’s not that pretty. It definitely has potential, though!
  2. Oh, who am I kidding? The Stone Age sucks! The only good thing here is YOU!
  • [Ancient Greece]
  1. You know, I quite like Ancient Greece! There’s so much art, science, philosophy… And best of all, you're here to enjoy it with me!
  2. Still don't like it here enough to stay forever, though. So let’s hurry up and get on with the next leg of our adventure, shall we?

[Dark Ages]

  1. You know, I'm not so sure about the Dark Ages. I feel… paranoid. Like there are witches everywhere! Hang on - you're not a witch, are you?
  2. Oh, bloody hell. We've got to get out of this place before we turn on each other! I quite like you, see, and I’d prefer to keep it that way.
  • [All Other Eras]
  1. Blimey, I hope we're not doing irreparable damage to the space-time continuum with all this resetting and meddling throughout history!
  2. Ehh, I'm sure things'll sort themselves out. Eventually. Somehow. Right?

Sweetheart

  • [Stone Age] Pebble for your thoughts? No? A funny-looking leaf, then? Right, you drive a hard bargain. How about a kiss?
  • [Ancient Greece] Piece of broken pottery for your thoughts? No? What about this funny-looking coin I found with a turtle stamped on it? Right, you drive a hard bargain. How about a kiss?
  • [Baroque Era] Gilded porcelain cup for your thoughts? No? How about an elaborate oil painting in an ornate frame? Haha! Can you believe how fancy everything is here? To tell the truth, I'm scared to touch any of it!
  • [Dark Ages] Finally, some coinage I can recognize! Pence for your thoughts? No? A shilling, then? Right, you still drive a hard bargain. How about a kiss?
  • [Feudal Japan] Flower for your thoughts? No? What about a haiku that I wrote myself while contemplating your beauty? ...Wow, this place really brings out another side of me, eh?
  • [1990s] Penny for your thoughts? No? A nickel, then? Right, you drive a hard bargain. How about a kiss?

  • Now, where did I put the magnifying lenses for me goggles? I want to get a closer look at ya. For reasons.
  • You're a bit like a clock. Round, unassuming face, with a real complex beauty underneath the surface. And you make my heart go tick-tick-tick!
  • You must be steam-powered, because you're too hot to handle! No seriously... Thank goodness I'm never without me work gloves!
  • Ohh yeah, talk gadgets to me...
  • I'm a time traveler, silly! Of course I always have time for you!

  2. But so long as you swear to never make a proper lady of me by dressing me up and locking me away like some fragile porcelain doll, then I suppose there's no harm in you courting me. It might even be a fun adventure!

  • [Stone Age] Oh good, you're here! I'm going a bit stir crazy. I can't find a single scrap yard to scrounge in, and I've done all the tinkering I can until we get more Time Crystals! Did I mention I'm quite bored?

  1. Growing up, I told meself I was fine on me own. Didn't need anyone or anything asides from my wits and my inventions.
  2. But having you along for the adventure has opened my eyes to what I was missing this whole time. You're my partner in crime, my co-pilot, my gentlethem caller... my family. I love you.

  • Aww, you always show up right when I need you... Like clockwork! Hehehe sorry, I couldn't resist!

  • You are near and gear to my clockwork heart!
  • Are you a rare and valuable bit of scrap? Because I'd love to take you home with me!
  • They should have you shoveling coal on a train, because you do a fine job of steaming me right up!
  • They say a woman's heart is unfathomable, and I'm inclined to agree. Even if you dove down twenty thousand leagues, you still wouldn't reach the depths of my love for you!
  • I may not be the domestic type, but I do still long for the pitter patter of tiny feet... That's why, back in me own timeline, I founded my own orphanarium for rescued lab rats!
  • Marshy, Marshy, give me your answer, do! I'm half crazy all for the love of you! It won't be a stylish courtship, I can't afford an airship.. But won't you look sweet upon the seat of an ornithopter built for two!
  • Love is just a chemical - we give it meaning by choice. And I choose... you!
  • I don't need to take our love apart to see how it works, I just trust that it always will.
  • You should take up an apprenticeship as a watchmaker, because you certainly put a spring in my step. Get it? Because the inner workings of watches and clocks use springs? Ah, right. You use that telephonic device of yours to tell time...
  • Oh, I would so love to take a jolly holiday with you! And when me time machine's fully operational again, we can go wherever we want, WHENever we want. Heehee!
  • I thought that finding a once in a lifetime love was something special... But what's that compared to the once in an alternate timeline love we found?
  • Oh, me poor time machine. I think I need a pep talk. Say it with me now! Can we fix it? Yes we can!

    • Have you ever noticed that a ballroom full of dancers, all twirling in circles around each other in sync, looks a bit like the inner workings of a clock? I should really be making sketches!

  • [Dark Ages]
    • I thought I got invited to a party, but it ended up being a sales pitch! This old wizard guy wanted to “build a team” to “retrieve an evil artifact from a cursed castle and destroy it”. Sounded like a scam to me!

  • [Feudal Japan]
    • Give me enough time, and I could invent a steam-powered geisha automaton! Of course, then I'd be class traitor for putting them gals out of work. Back to the drawing board, I guess!
    • I've never seen so many pretty gardens in all me life! Rock gardens, tea gardens, promenade gardens… Blimey, I feel practically zen!
  • [1990s]
    • Explain something to me: Digital watches. Also video casette recorders and car telephones. Oh, and computers. If you could just help me understand, that would be supreme!
    • I upgraded a pair of rollerskates with steam power. I've been noodling over how to register them at the patent office. Is the name Go Go Gadget trademarked, do you think?
  • If I didn't know better, I’d say you were secretly hopping through time without me - just to get me presents! You're not, right? Because that would be a waste of precious resources…
  • Ooh, you sure know how to get a gal's engine running.

    • [1990s] I've never seen so much light pollution! The stars were barely visible! Thanks for the stroll, but next time, maybe we should go play laser tag instead?
  • [Beach] What an odd beach! I bet multiple timelines are criss-crossing nearby, causing artifacts from other points in history to wash ashore. I can’t wait to see what we find next!
  • [Sightseeing]
    • [Stone Age] Thanks for bringing me out! Conditions were perfect to run some early field tests of my latest contraption. Which I built using bamboo and coconuts. Because there's nothing else.
    • [All Other Eras] Thanks for bringing me out! Conditions were perfect to run some early field tests of my latest contraption. Sorry I crash landed right on top of you, though. Multiple times...

First Meeting

[edit | edit source]
  1. (You, Polly, and Bearverly find yourselves tumbling through an endless wormhole. Just tumbling and tumbling, with no end in sight...)
  2. (Suddenly, you feel a massive impact! The wormhole spits you out in a place that's not at all familiar.)
  3. (There are Grecian columns, horses, and what looks to be a finish line...)
  4. Iro: Look out!!!
  5. (A beautiful chariot races towards you, nearly running you over before screeching to a halt at the finish line.)
  6. Iro: Aww, man! I can't believe I had to brake at the last second. I was about to beat my personal record!
  7. (You can't help but notice... the chariot driver is pretty gorgeous!)

Adversary

  • Where the heck did you come from? And how did you outrun my chariot ON FOOT? You're not another wannabe Olympian, are you? ARE YOU?
Sorry
[edit | edit source]
  • Who are you, the Roman Empire? Here to spoil my fun and take over everything?
  • In all fairness though, you have to have been running at the speed of light to scare the life out of me like you did. That's talent. Or demigod genetics.
  • My type? An athlete, obviously! Someone who can keep up with me, and climb on top of stuff with me. Accept no substitutes!
  • [Ancient Greece]
    • Who says I can't participate in the Olympics just because I'm a girl? Once they see my skills, they'll let me compete! I just know it!
  • [Baroque Era]

  • [1990s]
    • You didn't tell me the Olympics became a worldwide thing! And that women REGULARLY compete! It's a shame about the clothes, but SIGN ME UP!
  • Listen, I'll level with you. I get my nutritionist better presents than this. Please up your gift game.
  • Oh my gawd your hands are FREEZING! Are you a bronze statue or something?

  1. What is it, you human hurdle? I've got a lot of anger in me, and I'm looking for something squishy to punch. Get in the wrestling pit with me, or clear out!
  2. Hahaha! What? Seriously? No no, that's okay. I'm not gonna hit you. Way to take one for the team though. The name's Iro, nice to meet ya.
  • [Baroque Era]

  2. Actually, hold that thought. I enjoy being your only sporty babe... so maybe hang out at a museum of curiosities or something.

  • [Ancient Greece] / [Baroque Era] Well, I need a faster chariot. Looks like it's back to working the fields for me. It better be a good harvest this year. Yikes.
  • [1990s] So they DO have turbo chariots in this era... but they call them cars? Awesome! Can we pop back to ancient Greece for a real quick race?
Sorry

  • My hair? Oh, it actually grows naturally this way. When my Mom was pregnant, she prayed to Iris, the goddess of rainbows, and... I'm kidding!
  • When I wink at you, what's the first thing you think of? Is it, "Hey that girl's a flirty flirt", or is it, "Oh jeez, she's trying to inflict the evil eye on me"?
  • I may be an amateur, but that's not an insult! Doing something just for the love of it is the purest form of appreciation!

    • What's a girl got to do to wind up in a future where flying is commonplace? Preferably in a contraption that doesn't look like a mutated bird. I belong in the sky, damnit!

    • It is now my life's goal to travel in an airplane with you. First class, of course. Keep that in mind, and surprise me with tickets later. I can't wait to be in the sky!

  2. Well, I'm fresh out. But you're not bad at making me smile. So I hereby promote you to Frenemy. Keep it up, and you might one day be worthy to be Friendzoned.

  1. You again, hey? I thought I saw you sneaking around. What do you want, a bag of dried figs or something?
  2. Well, that's too bad! Figs are expensive in this era. Or at least, I'm assuming they are. I don't really understand how banknotes work.

  2. You're a glutton for punishment. So be it. I expect to hear your cheers over the rest of the crowd.

Friendzoned

  • You sure know how to make an entrance! Have I mentioned I'm glad you're not competing against me in the Olympics?
  • There's nothing I like better than a motivated person! I love a get-ship-done mentality. Work hard and play hard!
  • Lots of people accuse me of being a tomboy, but I like pretty things, too. I can rock a pair of gold armbands with the best of them!
  • I'm warning you - the next time you turn around, I'm gonna smack that bottom of yours. And I mean hard.
  • What's cooking, good looking? It must be baklava, 'cause I think you're nutty. And delicious.
  • Can I say something weird? I thought we were going to crash when you appeared on my track and it kind of turned me on. Adrenaline, yo. Not even once.
  • Are you just going to talk all day, or are you going to make a move? Sheesh!
  • You're sweet. But, like, supernaturally sweet. Like ambrosia. But accessible to mortals, I guess. This was way smoother in my head.
  • Why do you do this? Are you trying to make me swoon? Well, no guarantees, but keep it up!
  • Ahh! No no no! Every time someone tickles me, I accidentally roundhouse kick them in the face! Beware!

  2. Hahaha! Sweet. Okay, so that's 2 out of 2 people. That means it's either normal or it's a sign from the gods that we need to get a centaur.

Awkward Besties

  • You should ask me out today. Go out, come back in, and say something charming about how my beauty rivals that of Aphrodite. I'll wait.

  • [Ancient Greece] I was just about to go scope out the competition. Wanna come with? I could use someone telling me my calves are the nicest.

  • Will you massage my neck? I'll pretend you're not checking me out while you do it.

  • You've sure got a lot of hobbies. I have no idea how your schedule even works.
  • I went jogging this morning, and I was about 5km from home before I realized my tunic was tucked into my underwear.
  • If you were even 1% hotter, it could cause problems. Why? Because you're already nearly hotter than Hades!
  • Hey, are we doing stuff today? Should I grab a cloak or an offering for the Gods?
  • You notice how there's never any cool stories that start with, "Remember when we did that safe thing?"
  • Oh man, I got stuffed in the barrel yesterday. Hmm. That sounded oddly sexual. What I meant was I was trying to reach the last olive and got stuck.
  • Listen, I get a little insecure sometimes. Can we just touch base that things are good and we like each other's sexy bodies?
